I. Disobedience:  Jonah is running from God

Life Lesson: 
Wickedness does not go unnoticed.

II. Prayer:  Jonah is running to God

Statement of Truth:
We cannot walk our own way and expect God’s hand to be upon us.

Life Lesson:
If Jonah can disobey anyone of us can disobey.  If Jonah can pray and repent, than guess what?  Anyone of us can turn and repent.

III. Preaching:  Jonah is running with God

Life Lesson:
When God saw their repentance,  HE relented.

IV. Complaining:  Jonah is running ahead of God

Life Lesson:
Notice what God provides for us is always better than what we provide for ourselves.


Other Life Lessons:

    1.   Self will always leads to a downward path

    2.   God seeks the salvation of all people even the most vile people on the earth

    3.   Running from God will almost always lead to a storm in your life

    4.   Do not take God’s assignment lightly
