Ephesians 2:4-5

Question to Consider:  Can the resurrection of Jesus Christ change and effect you?

Paul uses 3 words to describe who we were:

• Dead 

• Disobedient 

        o Three Forces Impact our obedience:

    1. WORLD
    2. DEVIL
    3. FLESH


• Doomed


Two POWERFUL Simple words “BUT GOD.”

DOERS OF THE WORD:


1. Take time this week to evaluate how you once walked according to the way of this world.  How has the reality of Easter changed your thoughts, desires and behavior?




2. What is the greatest challenge in communicating the Gospel to those around us that without Christ we are both dead and doomed by our disobedience?




3. What other “But God” statements can you find in the scriptures?   
            {personally Romans 5:8 is my favorite! Take time to write yours}
