The God Who Answers Prayer
Ephesians 3:20-21

Statement of Truth:  The goal of our prayers is not merely the answer we receive but rather the purpose of prayer is the Glory of God! 

I. GOD IS ABLE TO ANSWER YOUR BIGGEST REQUEST

        a. God is at work infinitely beyond us

            i. Speaks of God’s Omnipotence

            ii. Speaks of God’s Sovereign ability

            iii. Speaks of God’s Sufficiency

            iv. Speaks of God’s Omniscience

       b.    God is at work within us

Good news:  The power you need is already at work within you

Statement of Truth:   The stronger you feel the more self-sufficient you become.  The weaker you feel the more you will learn to lean on Him.

II. GOD IS WORTHY TO RECEIVE YOUR HIGHEST PRAISE

    a.   The Inherent Glory of God

    b.   The Ascribed Glory of God
