REAL Repentance
REAL Repentance {Part 1}
Genesis 43:34-44:5
Quotable?
“But all at once I realized that it was not my success God had used to enable me to help those in this prison, or in hundreds of others just like it. My life of success was not what made this morning so glorious -- all my achievements meant nothing in God's economy. "No, the real legacy of my life was my biggest failure -- that I was an ex-convict. My greatest humiliation -- being sent to prison -- was the beginning of God's greatest use of my life; He chose the one thing in which I could not glory for His glory.”

Questions to consider from this text:
1. Why does Joseph serve Benjamin 5 times the amount that he gives all the other brothers?
2. What do you think: Have these brothers changed? Are they as greedy as they were 20 years ago when they sold Joseph into slavery?
3. When Benjamin was accused of evil, how will the brothers respond?
4. Do you think Joseph engaged in divination, why or why not?
5. At what point do you think these brothers find true repentance?
6. In your own words describe worldly sorrow and godly sorrow. Is there a difference? If so, what?
